Harbin electric motor development Baihetan 7 unit began assembly

Under the guidance of the congratulatory letter from the General Secretary, Harbin Electric Machinery Factory Co., Ltd. of Harbin Electric Group has fully carried forward the spirit of excellence, courage to reach new heights, selfless dedication, and made new achievements in the Baihetan project, which is an important achievement of Harbin Electric Motor to learn and implement the Sixth Plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee with practical actions.


On November 16, GOOD NEWS CAME FROM THE SITE OF BAIHETAN POWER STATION, THE SEVENTH (NO. 10 UNIT) ROTOR OF BAIHETAN RIGHT BANK POWER STATION DEVELOPED BY Harbin ELECTRIC MOTOR WAS SUCCESSFULLY HOISTED AND FORMALLY ENTERED THE STAGE OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY.



At 8:40 am, the rotor of No. 10 unit was lifted slowly in the Right Bank power plant of Baihetan. After 1 hour and 29 minutes of aerial lifting, the rotor was seated in the installation position in the machine pit smoothly.


It is understood that on April 27th, the rotor center body of No. 10 unit officially entered the site, and it has been successfully hoisted until today, a total of 203 days. Meanwhile, the acceptance results of each process are up to or better than the quality unit standard.



Baihetan Hydropower Station is the largest hydropower station under construction in the world and the second largest hydropower station in the world, with 16 hydro-generating units of 1 million kilowatts, the largest single capacity in the world. Harbin Electric Motor undertakes the development of all 8 units on the right bank of the power station.



Up to now, two of the Baihetan units developed by Harbin Electric Motor have been put into production, with excellent performance and stable operation. The third and fourth units have completed all the tests before the grid involvement, and the subsequent tests will be carried out according to the unified deployment of the Three Gorges Corporation. The fifth unit is scheduled for its first transfer and commissioning on November 17, and the installation of other units is progressing in an orderly manner.
